A remarkably large tulip tree in an area proposed for logging. There are several large trees like this that may be cut. The Forest Service inventory says these trees aren't there.

A very large, likely very old White oak surrounded by some excellent forest. The Forest Service wants to cut about half of the trees here, and eventually come back in to take the rest.
